🔷Overview

Hepton proposes three unique sets of layers on top of Ethereum’s base layer (L1), with Hepton PoS serving as the sidechain through root mapping protocol and Hepton STANDRA as the zk-rollup-based Layer3. This architecture provides sidechains with asset diversity through bridges, cross-network swaps, and limitless scalability from rollups, creating a more adaptable operating environment for applications. $HTE token will be the gas token inside the PoS chain and the DAO Governance token for the ZK-Rollup scaling layer

🔷Hepton Infrastructure

Hepton PoS (Proof-Of-Stake) is a sidechain of Ethereum that is designed to be the execution layer for numerous Web3 projects. It is secured by Proof-Of-Stake consensus mechanisms, with a user-friendly transaction cost through EIP-1559 implementation.

The protocol architecture is fully compatible with EVM, and connected to Ethereum L1 through a two-way pegged bridge secured by PoS external validators but does not offer Plasma Scaling Solutions for network flexibility reasons. Therefore, Hepton PoS is compatible with existing Ethereum technology and is a self-sovereign network, making it accessible to communities, developers, and institutions looking to embark on their Web3 journey.

Meanwhile, Hepton STANDRA is Hepton’s layer-2 solution to scaling and solving the Ethereum scalability trilemma through a ZK-Rollup technology that can onboard up to 10,000 tx per batch (roll-up). Adding ZK-STARK makes Hepton STANDRA safer and more open than the existing layer with the SNARK-Rollup verifier. It works for all users and institutions, like exchanges, to store their asset reserves (ZK-Proof-Of-Reserve).

Leveraging this architecture, the sidechain (Hepton PoS) provides asset diversity through bridges, cross-network swaps, and unlimited scalability from rollups, creating a more favorable environment for applications to operate in.
