Meet VR artist Zhou Xuejia, 周雪佳

For China NFT Art Week, we would like to invite you to the VR world of artist Zhou Xuejia 周雪佳.
Zhou Xuejia has two identities, one is as a busy homebody living an inward life and raising two babies. The other is a college professor who also doubles on running a digital art studio. She comes from a pure artistic background.
After Zhou Xuejia first came into contact with digital art in 2017, she was shocked and realized that she could actually accomplish a lot in the future. Until 2021, with the support of project funds, she began utilizing hardware and software to experiment in VR and aimed to become a VR artist.
Her collaboration with Spores Network will be the first time Zhou Xuejia presents her own NFT creation. Her Masterpiece Series uses VR technology to make famous master’s paintings three-dimensional, spatial, and digital.
In her vision, someday, through the metaverse, perhaps we all could interact with these works in the future, imagine sitting, lying down, and browsing around the virtual room in ‘Van Gogh’s Room’.
She is also working on how to combine the context of traditional Chinese culture with VR so that the world can see the innovative power of Chinese digital art.
